Start the day with a scenic drive to an award-winning heritage Precinct, rural village and wander around the machinery museum, art hub and gallery, view quilts, an 1888 homestead and church in a beautiful garden setting.
Enjoy fresh scones or cake, coffee or tea at the famous tea room – delicious.
Antiques and Collectables
Wander around a delightful large store stocked with an amazing selection of quirky and fun antiques and collectables to buy – there is something for everyone and is a very interesting place to visit.
Enjoy a delicious lunch with a wine/beer or soft drink at the Dwelly Pub. Built in the late 1900’s and still standing after devastating fires.
Enjoy a tasting paddle or wine tastings at Wine Tree Cidery, where they produce small batch wines and ciders that catch the imagination and delight the senses.
After lunch add a train ride if you wish (Extra fees apply)
Enjoy a wonderful train ride on the famous historic Hotham Valley trains through the forest.
Saturdays: Diesel train (a short walk trail in the forest for 20 minutes half way). 1 hour and 30 minutes total.
$28 Adult, $14 Child (2-15yrs) $4 up to 2 years old.
Sundays: Steam train (a 30 min stopover as locomotive changes). 2 hours total.
$40 Adult, $20 Child (2-15yrs) $4 up to 2 years old.
