Orange wine tastes very different from regular white wines and it has an aromatic, almost floral, sour taste with a top nuttiness – due to oxidation. Orange wines are strong, robust and have a honey, bruised apple, sour dough, juniper and dried orange rind notes.

Orange wine originated in Georgia (not USA) but Slovenia, Italian border, about 5000 years ago.
